A mockumentary following a new startup who’s business model is throwing surprise parties. Entering people’s homes, and taking people unawares, they’re constantly encountering problems they weren’t bargaining for, especially with the eccentric cast of characters working there, including an uncover cop, using the business as a way to track a serial killer.

The main message of the series is “we have to embrace the surprises that come along with life,” a lesson Dennis, the founder, keeps learning as his business and personal life constantly encounter surprises of its own, and its also something the rest of the team learns. It’s a mockumentary, a bit in the style of the British The Office with some very dark undertones of a Bobcat Goldwaitdth movie.
