Several people who have recently gotten laid off from the job decide that they’re smart enough to never have to go back to a real job. Instead they can beat the system by working smarter. They pull off a series of crimes and heists in the series, some real, like the Santa Con bank robbery.

The message of the series is “the life of crime is a slippery slope,” as the group’s crimes get larger, and the things they’re willing to compromise on become larger.. This series is a bit like Better Call Saul if it was made by the Coen Brothers.
