Millie moves in with a strange roommate, whom she suspects is taking orders from a demon in the basement. But after the roommate mysteriously kills himself, the demon starts beckoning her, finding a way better servant for its evil desires. It’s hard to tell if the demon is real or if this is Millie losing her mind, but at any rate, she begins acting out terrible kinds of evil in the name of the demon.

The message of the series is “submitting to authority can yield terrible results,” much like in the Milgrim experiments. Like with the name, the series can lean into camp, but it can also lean into pure, Exorcist type horror.
