A group of psychiatrists solve their patients problems and even save their lives and the lives of others by entering their dreams. They are experts in this, but they constantly deal with challenges, many of them involving crimes and there is always the danger of the doctors getting lost in the dreams.

The message of the series is “our deepest thoughts impact our lives greatly,” as this is true even within the doctor’s lives. The show is a procedural in some ways, but it’s one that takes place in an Inception type world.
