Creators of the weird, twisted, and terrifying…

Dark Bites is coming...  Mezmeralda will showcase one minute dark, weird and scary videos on the show and promote the creators.

Submit your dark 60 second videos to be featured on the show.   No worries—you will still be 100% the owner of your video.

We encourage all those with twisted imaginations or those who are into things like Dark Cosplay,  horror movies, monsters,  magic,  or even everyday strange stuff to submit. Every episode of Dark Bites will feature 4-6 of these dark bites. Each episode, the audience will vote for their favorite, which go onto our Hall of Maim.

The rules

1. You MUST own everything within your video (footage, music, etc.) or have the rights to it. If something is in doubt, leave it out. You are responsible if you breach this rule.

2. We’re looking for weird, dark, scary, or unusual, not gross. No real blood or vomit please. And, uh, make sure you’re not breaking the law.

3. Each bite should be about 60 seconds—a little over or under is fine. You don’t need credits. We will read the creator(s) name aloud on the show, and we will list the credits for each bite in the episode descriptions

4. Good news! Cideshow/ Dark Bites will NOT own your episode. You will still be 100% the owner of what you create.

5. That said, you are submitting your video to appear in an episode, and if selected, Cideshow and Dark will be able to feature your video within that episode as well as in marketing materials.

6. For right now, Cideshow/ Dark Bites cannot compensate contestants or winners. Submitting to us does not guarantee that your bite will be selected to appear on an episode.
