How does this thing work anyway?

Thank you for stepping right up to Cideshow, the first ever fully interactive streaming service.

This is a quick rundown on how the interactive feature works, so you can start giving candy in no time:

  1. You begin with some candy, the amount dependent on which plan you signed up for. You can check into the Candy Store to see how much you currently have.

  2. Many shows have a “Donate” button, along with a progress bar, indicating how much candy that show needs. Once that progress bar reaches 100%, that show is renewed for more episodes.

  3. Many times when you donate, you get to participate with the show in some sort of way. Many of the shows ask a questions that viewers can vote on. The more candy given when an answer is selected, the more votes that answer receives. Some shows have options where if you donate a certain amount, you can participate in special show events, have your ideas integrated into the series, or even win prizes.

  4. If you run out of candy, you can always buy more at the Candy Store.
